The Annual General Meeting of the Atlantic Standardbred Breeders Association will take place Friday August 21, 2020 at 1:30pm in the Grandstand at Red Shores Charlottetown.  There is limited space available due to Covid-19 restrictions.  If you plan on attending please RSVP to Debbie Francis at  debbie.francis@eastlink.ca by August 18, 2020.    

ASBA Memberships for 2020 are due prior to your 2 and/or 3 year old starting in the Atlantic Sires Stakes.  Anyone who did not pay their membership with their sustaining fee or yearling nomination has been invoiced by Standardbred Canada.  Payments can be made through Standardbred Canada Track Representatives or with Amy Davis at Standardbred…

With the Atlantic Sires Stakes scheduled to start July 7, 2020 in Summerside, please make sure your ASBA membership has been paid for the 2020 race season.  Payments can be made to Standardbred Canada or the ASBA office.   Memberships must be paid prior to racing in the Atlantic Sire Stakes program.

Representatives from the Maritime Harness Racing Industry Associations, along with the Atlantic Sires Stakes program, have jointly announced that the 2020 Maritime Stakes schedule has been revised in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Prince Edward Island Harness Racing Industry Association is now prepared to pay the new Breeders Award for 2020.  This is a $250 award for island foaled weanlings (stud fee paid), Applications available through Wayne Pike at 902-569-1682 or email at peracing@eastlink.ca

May 8, 2020 ASBA is currently reviewing the stake schedule and the impact that we may face due to Covid-19.   We will update as more information becomes available.    

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic Atlantic Standardbred Breeders Association has postponed their Annual General Meeting that was scheduled for Sunday April 26, 2020 at 1pm in the Truro Raceway Grandstand. A new date and time will be released when made available.
