Congratulations on your participation in the 2026 Atlantic Sires Stakes program. The season will conclude with the Atlantic Breeders Crown Consolations and Finals on October 3rd &  4th at Red Shores Charlottetown Driving Park. Participation in the Atlantic Breeders Crown is based upon points accumulated throughout the season.  Points earned in each Atlantic Sires Stakes ‘A’ division pacing event and all trotting events are assigned as follows:

1^st place finish – 9 points; 2^nd – 7 points; 3^rd – 6 points; 4^th – 5 points; 5^th – 4 points; 6^th – 3 points; 7^th – 2 points; and 8^th 1 point.

The declaration deadline for all Atlantic Breeders Crown events (pacing finals & consolations and trotting finals) will be WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, at 10 am.

All horses which have earned at least one point during the Atlantic Sires Stakes season should be declared into race.  It is the responsibility of the owner/trainer to make this declaration by contacting the Charlottetown Driving Park race office prior to 10 am on Wednesday, September 30.  The declared entries, based upon the point system, will then be placed in the draw for the appropriate events.  In addition, Also Eligible lists will be prepared based on the point system.   Any ties in point standings will be decided by a draw conducted by representatives of the ASBA and the Race Secretary at the Host track.  This draw will be open to any interested parties.

The top eight finalists in each championship event will be honored during the weekend.  Please watch for upcoming information about Atlantic Breeders Crown Weekend of Champions.

Should the Consolation Race not fill with point earners, the top B money earners will be next in line for the Consolation.  Any ties in money earnings will also be decided by a draw conducted by the representatives of the ASBA and the Atlantic Provinces Harness Racing Commission.
