Atlantic Sires Stakes 2015 Race Season Begins Sunday at Truro Raceway

The first Atlantic Sires Stakes events of the 2015 race season are slated for this Sunday afternoon at Truro Raceway.

The much anticipated start of the season will see the three-year-old pacing fillies meet for some serious competition at the Truro oval.

Two ‘A’ divisions of the pacing fillies will highlight the afternoon race card, with each division going for a purse pool of $10,640.

Points accumulated in each Atlantic Sires Stakes ‘A’ division event go towards securing a coveted spot in the season-ending Atlantic Breeders Crown Championship.  This year’s championship events will be hosted by Red Shores at the Charlottetown Driving Park on Thanksgiving weekend.

First race post time at Truro Raceway on Sunday is 1 pm.
