Atlantic Breeders Crown Purses

Atlantic Breeders Crown Championship Weekend – October 8 to 10, 2021

The Atlantic Standardbred Breeders Association is pleased to announce the purses for the Atlantic Breeders Crown Weekend of Campions will be as follows:

ABC Final for 2 & 3 year old pacing fillies and colts – $25,000,

ABC Final for 2 & 3 year old trotters – $10,000

ABC Consolation for 2 & 3 year old pacing fillies and colts –  $7,500

Participation in the Atlantic Breeders Crown is based upon points accumulated throughout the season in each Atlantic Sires Stakes ‘A’ division pacing event and all trotting events.  All horses which have earned at least one point during the Atlantic Sires Stakes season should be declared into race.  It is the responsibility of the owner/trainer to make this declaration by contacting the Charlottetown Driving Park race office prior to 10 am on Wednesday, October 6.  The declared entries, based upon the point system, will then be placed in the draw for the appropriate events.  In addition, Also Eligible lists will be prepared based upon the point system.

With two more Atlantic Sire Stakes events left to race for 2 year old pacing colts and fillies, the final eligible list will be completed after September 27, 2021.

The ASBA is also pleased to announce horses racing in the Atlantic Breeders Crown Championship (pacers and trotters) and the Consolations who finish six to eight in their respective division will have their starting fee returned.

ASBA would like to thank the Prince Edward Island Industry Association and Cavendish Farms for their support of the Atlantic Breeders Crown Weekend.  Also a special thank you to the Provinces of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island for their continued support of the Atlantic Sires Stakes program.
