Whosurwinner Captures Kensington Horsemen’s Club Pace; Two Year Colts in Atlantic Sires Stakes Action

Summerside, PE – Whosurwinner, under the command of driver Adam Merner, pulled off an upset to win the Kensington Horsemen’s Club Pace Thursday at Red Shores Summerside. The time of the mile was 1:58.4.

Trained by Deanna Clow, Whosurwinner came flying through the stretch to knock off the competition and notch his fourth win of the season. Inspired Art (Marc Campbell) was second with Carnivore (Dale Spence) third. The 5-1-2 triactor returned $535.60.

Governor’s Plate week continued with the two year-old colts vying for top place cheques in the Atlantic Sires Stakes.

Libertys Choice (Jason Hughes), Windemerenightlife (Marc Campbell) and Tobinator (Corey MacPherson) made the first three trips to victory lane. The other stakes winners were Nameisonthehalter (Clare MacDonald), Colin N Down (Gilles Barrieau) and Carters Caper (MacDonald).

In other action, the Rockey Chief – Harvey and Randy MacEachern memorial went to Honor Roll and driver Brian Andrew in 1:58.2.

Wager was $26,916
