New Three-Year-Old Filly Track Record at Inverness  Raceway

Inverness Raceway has a new track record for three-year-old fillies thanks to a visit from Ramblinglily on Sunday afternoon.  The bay pacing filly captured first place honours in Atlantic Sires Stakes racing action in a time of 1:57.3 under the command of driver Brodie MacPhee.  Ramblinglily is the current point leader in her Atlantic Sires Stakes division and is owned by Allan Jones of Riverview, NB, and Normand Leger of Shediac, NB.

The other $9780 Atlantic Sires Stakes ‘A’ division event went to Scootin For Joy and driver Mike Stevenson in a time of 1:58.1.  The ownership papers on this three-year-old pacing filly are held by Peggy Connors of Shediac Cape, NB.

Two $2500 ‘B’ divisions rounded out the Atlantic Sires Stakes action with Gotfaithincowboys and driver Angus Bates crossing the finish line first in their division and Beaus Cowgirl and Marc Campbell winning the second event.

Inverness Raceway will play host to Atlantic Sires Stakes participants
again on Wednesday evening when the two-year-old pacing fillies meet for
competition.  Two ‘A’ divisions will each go for $9480 and one ‘B’ division
will go for $2500.

First race post time on Wednesday at Inverness Raceway is 7:30
pm.
