Lovineveryminute destroys three-year-old filly track record

By Bo Ford

Summerside PE- Track records are made to be broken and that’s exactly what happened Thursday night at Red Shores’ Summerside.

Lovineveryminute in line to Todd Trites went right on down the road destroying the three-year-old
track record for three-year-old fillies in 156.3.

The filly is owned by River Valley Management, Windermere Farms and Lana Murphy. She is trained by
Earl Watts. The home bred of River Valley Management went straight to the lead from post 3 and never looked back.

Trites said he was glad to see the filly bounce back after a rough journey in her last start. After
being parked to the half in :55.3 she faded to finish sixth.

“I was glad to see her bounce back, she was awesome tonight. She deserves this record because I
think she is one of the best fillies to ever race around here.”

Watts picked up a training double in the Atlantic Sire Stakes with Absolootly Hot in Race 9. The filly was sent out  of the gate by co-owner Scott Hubbard to fractions of :27.4, :57, 1:27, winning
in 1:57.3. The Dooley Boys Racing Stable also own the daughter of Coasttocoast Yankee. She was bred by the Charlotte Ranch and Dan Bellvieau.  Bettim Jenny was second and Woodmere Trulyblue was third. Race favourite Saulsbrook Alana was fourth.

The final ‘A’ division was won in the same fashion. Pilot Mark Bradley blasted Elm Grove Inarush to the front from Post 3 missing the newly set track record by one fifth of a second in 1:56.4.The filly is owned by Blaine Thibault,  Gordon Macleod, Grant Mann and trainer Eddy Doucette. She was bred by Seaweed Amg.

Goodmorningdiva, Sea Anna Win and Waterhook picked up the ‘B’ division victories. Mike Stevenson drove Goodmorningdiva putting him just one win away from 1, 500.

Rymar Chief, with Ken Murphy in the bike, captured the Graham Chappell Memorial in 2:01.3 for
owner-trainer Eric Doucette of South Rustico.  Ultimate Faith and Marc Campbell took the feature race for trainer Philp Desroches and owner Abel Arsenault.

Zip The Lip in line to Brian Macphee took the open trot in 2:01.4 for owners Orville Wills and trainer
Donnie Sweet.
