Atlantic Sires Stakes to be Featured at Red Shores Summerside Raceway

A full slate of Atlantic Sires Stakes events will be the highlight of several race cards during Lobster Carnival Week activities in Summerside, PEI, this week.

On Tuesday evening the two and three-year-old Atlantic Sires Stakes trotters will meet for the first time this season at Red Shores Summerside Raceway.  Three divisions of the freshmen trotters will each go for a purse pool of $5260, meanwhile the sophomores will go in two divisions for $7180.  First race post time on Tuesday is 7 pm.

On Wednesday evening the two-year-old pacing fillies will take to the Summerside oval.  Three ‘A’ divisions will each compete for $8880 in purse monies and three ‘B’ divisions will round out the race card.

The two-year-old pacing colts will take to the track on Thursday evening and the Atlantic Sires Stakes racing action will continue on Friday and Saturday when the three-year-old pacing fillies and colts roll into town.
