Atlantic Sires Stakes Race Season Begins Sunday
The inaugural event of the 2013 Atlantic Sires Stakes race season is slated to take place this Sunday at Truro Raceway.
The eagerly anticipated event will see three ‘A’ divisions of the three-year-old pacing fillies compete for the winner’s share of the $6,980 purse. Three ‘B’ divisions will round out the afternoon race card.
Points accumulated in every Atlantic Sires Stakes ‘A’ division event go towards securing a position in the season-ending Atlantic Breeders Crown Championship. This year’s championship event will be hosted by Red Shores Charlottetown Driving Park on Thanksgiving weekend.
First race post time at Truro Raceway on Sunday is 1:30
pm.
