Atlantic Sires Stakes Fillies Equal Track Record

Ramblinglily, the current Atlantic Sires Stakes leading point earner in her division, equaled the track record for three-year-old pacing fillies at Northside Downs Saturday afternoon.  The filly crossed the finish line in 1:57 with driver Brodie MacPhee in the bike for owners Allan Jones of Riverview, NB, and Normand Leger of Shediac, NB.

The record was equaled again later on the race card when Whistys Paradise and driver Ernest Laffin also captured their division in 1:57 for owner Christopher Laffin of Mill Village, NS.

Atlantic Sires Stakes racing action heats up again next week as several divisions are slated to go during Atlantic Grand Circuit Week at Truro Raceway.

First on the docket are the two-year-old pacing fillies and the two and three-year old trotters which will all meet for competition on Tuesday evening.  First race post time is 7 pm.

Atlantic Sires Stakes action will continue on Thursday with the two year-old pacing colts and on Saturday with the three-year-old pacing colts.
