Atlantic Sires Stakes Fillies Clock Fast Miles at Inverness Raceway

Atlantic Sires Stakes two-year-old pacing fillies clocked some fast miles at Inverness Raceway on Wednesday evening ,with the track record for two-year-old fillies being equaled by Lovineveryminute.  The bay pacing filly crossed the finish line in 1:58.4 with driver Gilles Barrieau holding the lines for owner River Valley Management of Quispamsis, NB.
 
The second ‘A’ event on the evening race card went to Sail Through and driver Mike Stevenson in a time of 2:01.1.  The filly is owned by Boyd MacDonald Produce Ltd. of Crapaud, PE, and Daniel Ross of Belfast, PE.
 
The lone $2500 ‘B’ division event went to Shindeagan and driver Danny Romo for owners Tom Hawco and George Della Valle of Sydney, NS.
 
Atlantic Sires Stakes racing action heats up again this weekend and will continue all next week, as a full slate of events is slated for Old Home Week at Red Shores Charlottetown Driving Park.
