Atlantic Sires Stakes Colts Impressive in Inverness

Atlantic Sires Stakes two year-old pacing colts put on an impressive show at Inverness Raceway Sunday afternoon.
 
Pictonian Storm captured the first of three $7220 ‘A’ division events under the command of Mike Stevenson.  The bay pacing colt crossed the finish line in 2:00.1 for owner Daniel Ross of Belfast, PE.
 
The second event went to Super S Yzerman and owner-driver Clare MacDonald in 2:00.4.  Morah Kerr of Greenfield, NS, shares the ownership papers on the colt.
 
The third and final ‘A’ division event went to Tobins Fusion and driver Gilles Barrieau in 2:02.3 for owners Boyd MacDonald, Crapaud, PE, Daniel Ross, Belfast, PE, and Charles Seymour, Fredericton, NB.  
 
The lone $2500 ‘B’ division event went to Life To Remember and driver Gilles Barrieau for owners Ronald Seymour Jr. and William Seymour of Glace Bay, NS, and Kevin Dorey of Lower Sackville, NS.
