Atlantic Classic Sale Kickoffs Weekend of Champions

The Atlantic Classic Sale will kickoff off the Weekend of Champions, the fall feature event of Atlantic Canadian harness racing. The Maritimes leading yearling sale will start at 2.p.m. Friday at the Crapaud Exhibition grounds, and will offer numerous siblings to 2016 stakes stars. In addition, there are several Ontario sired entries which are expected to draw buyers attention.

Saturday the Atlantic Breeders Crown Consolation races start at 12:30 p.m. at Red Shores, with the sold out banquet event celebrating Fifty years of the Atlantic Sires program, that  evening starting at 7 p.m. also at Red Shores in the Top of the Park. 

Sunday starts with a complimentary pancake breakfast at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Fan Seminar with several of leading trainer drivers from across the region at 10:30 a.m. Both events are complimentary, and are held at Red Shores at the Charlottetown Driving Park grandstand. 

The 2016 Atlantic Breeders Crown Champions will be crowned Sunday afternoon starting at 12:30 p.m. at Red Shores.
