All Turain wins second Governor’s Plate Elimination; Atlantic Sires Stakes also on the card

Summerside, PE – All Turain, with regular pilot Brodie MacPhee in the bike, won the second Governor’s Plate elimination Monday at Red Shores Summerside in 1:56 flat.
 
MacPhee took the Trevor Hicken trainee to victory for the sixth time this season earning another appearance in the Governor’s Plate for owners Trevor and Lee Hicken. The pacer held off a late charging Judge Jon for the win with Astor fading to third. Machinthesand finished fourth to secure the final spot in the Governor’s Plate presented by Summerside Chrysler Dodge on Saturday.
 
The two-year old colts competed in Atlantic Sires Stakes action with top honors going Putnams Legacy for Bernard McCallum in 2:01.4 and Camco Titan (Todd Trites) in 200.3 in their respective “A”
divisions.
 
Ross Melivino (Ryan Ellis) and Dark Thunder (Darren Crowe) won the B divisions on the program.
